Ben was commissioned to create a series of illustrations depicting some of the "critters" typically encountered in Florida state parks. Working with Department of Environmental Protection biologists to ensure accuracy, Ben illustrated 30 selected critters and 10 non-native exotic (invasive) species. The critters include animals, plants and Florida environments. The informational "Critter Sheets" are being given out to Florida state park visitors, including line art versions for kids to color.
After developing the concepts through a series of hand drawn sketches, each final illustration was delivered as line art and full color versions in multiple file formats convenient for web or print media.
