With Ben S. Johnson serving as Creative Director, Design Farm provided turn-key design services for QLu from the beginning. Starting with building a brand identity from scratch, Ben led Design Farm's effort to help QLu attain instant credibility with celebrities and their fans.
A simple logo, two-toned teal and craft-paper-brown color palette created a minimalist and hip identity foundation, with plenty of supplementary colors and imagery available to provide excitement and variety. Careful consideration was placed on using 100% recycled paper stock as part of the QLu identity. Ben helped ensure that the brand identity was consistent across all marketing materials, including print and web. The QLu brand identity proved to be a success as it became easily recognizable and helped create an authentic brand value for auctioned celebrity items.
